Classes

Tiny Tigers

3 & 4 years

30 min class – 1x per week

This 30-minute unparented preschool class introduces young children to the basics of karate—blocks, punches, kicks, and stances—while building confidence, respect, listening skills, balance, and coordination.
Through fun drills and games, kids develop focus and body control, with light, supervised point sparring and self-defense to help “bully-proof” them and boost their confidence.
We also teach an important lesson: with karate skills comes responsibility. Children learn about non-violent conflict resolution and when it is appropriate to use their training. We do not train bullies—our goal is to help kids feel capable, confident, and respectful in every situation.

Little Ninjas

5 & 6 years

45 min class – 1x per week

space

This 45-minute unparented class introduces young children to karate in a fun, structured environment that builds confidence, responsibility, and good habits. Through games and active learning, students explore the same core concepts taught in our regular programs.
The curriculum includes basic strikes, blocks, stances, kata, light point sparring, weapon sparring, and age-appropriate self-defense. We discuss how to recognize “bad guys,” when it’s appropriate to use their skills, and the importance of conflict resolution. Our dojo provides a safe, supportive space for kids to try new things, build confidence, and do their best.
